Oh to find my ip address was a little confusing cause an internet search said to hover over the wifi symbol on the upper right corner of the screen. I think that gives the address for your homes router? Anyways, I opened my new favorite CLI screen and typed ifconfig and hit enter. The online instructions said it would be in the 2nd line…whatever, on mine, the address was down quite a bit, I would suggest just looking for something that starts with 192.xxx or whatever.
Instructions for this should say to type: http:// (then the ip address) followed by :5000/
Hope this helps other computer dummies like me.

Glad you got it to work! I think we all share your enthusiasm in getting it to work because most of us have had to get through this in some form or another.
Instructions for autostart are here about half way down where it starts with “run as a service.” (I just updated that link)
make sure the execstart folder matches where you installed webcontrol in the .service file.
Glad to see that it’s working for you. Hopefully by now you figured out how to create a systemd service to autostart WebControl. If not, come back and we can talk you through it.
