How can I see EEPROM values?

I read that ‘$$’ command shows EEPROM values, but can’t get that to work. First I realized that GC doesn’t seem to have a way to enter in gcode, so I put ‘$$’ in macro, but when I press it nothing displays in terminal. I tried using another terminal but the idle status overwhelms any output. Is there a way to currently view the EEPROM values, or dump them to file, etc?

Thanks.

The output from ‘$$’ is in log.txt.

Here’s a way to watch the log in real time, thanks to @Splaxi.

I can’t take any credit for it. I just guessed what was missing in the first version :grinning:
