I'm off the grid until Thursday

I am going to be potentially off the grid until Thursday at Burning Man.

I did a 24 hour van build in a rental van that was a lot of fun and I promise to share pictures of all the best CNC cut stuff that I see!

I might have internet, but I also might not so I wanted to give a heads up in case I disappear for a few days!

Impressive demo usage of your CNC, and Abundance project at abundance.maslowcnc.com/BarbourSmith/Van-Build too. Lots of neat ideas, like the rope shelves, zip tied roof, and 3D pan carving with standoffs for sled support.

What was the increased current value (to avoid missed Z steps) that worked for your full depth 1/2” cuts at 2000mm/min (33mm/s)?

Did you do the full size bed cut at 2000mm//min too, or slow down since going close to edges of the full sheet?

Thanks for linking the Abundance project, I should have done that.

I bumped them up to 1.3A for the run_amps: 1.300000 setting

That was the same speed :grinning_face:

for your full-sheet cuts, did you check how far off they were from what you
planned?

I was hustling to get it done quickly so I didn’t take any measurements :confused:
