This will be my 4th post in the past week or two regarding the fact I can not get webcontrol to execute after loading it on my Rpi 4 B. I have tried the 64bit Rpi OS and the 32 bit OS and I have used 3 different brand micro SD cards.
It seems no matter what I do, I get to the point where I type ./webcontrol and it gives an error message.
I would be curious if someone with an extra Rpi could try to load it and see if it works or not? I’m using the same instructions I used to get it up and running 2 years ago. Message is typically something like “can’t find required file”.
Rather than retype everything here, you can look at another topic I opened where David Lang attempted to help me. There I have screenshots of the issue.
I’ll just use windows on my laptop to operate the router as I can connect that way. I’m guessing the new version of Maslow must operate on a different system and the 3 axis units are no longer supported?
Yeah, we (Maslow) stopped making those machines in 2018 so things have come quite a long way since then.
Webcontrol was actually a community created project. It’s phenomenal, but I think that most folks have moved on from working on it at this point.
I realized that after all I heard was crickets LOL. I just signed up for the update email to get a 4.1. I’m super excited about this now that I have gone through the pains of remorse over my 3 axis unit. Any insider information on when they might be available again?
I’m still using webcontrol but not on raspi. Using my Linux laptop from 2010. Works great
