Large frame M2 w/ 12' top bar... Downsides?

Any downside, unforeseen problems, glitches, hassles to making a bigger frame?? I just got a M2 & want to use entire sheets. I’m planning a 12’ top bar & 4x8 work area with skirting.

that’s actually recommended (12’ beam and skirting)

note that due to the balance of the sled being bottom heavy (to keep it from
spinning), you don’t need much, if any skirting on the top, but need more on the
bottom.

you don’t need a full 9" on the sides, but there hasn’t been a lot of
experimentation there.

Any vids or layout designs for the upgrade? I have ordered the new chains already and want to get the frame expanded so when they get here I am ready

Did you build your 12’ frame yet? Just curious how it went. I’m expecting my kit soon, just weighing options

What’s the largest deck/frame somebody’s made and run?
I’ve been running laser decks ( up to 5’ x 10’), but need a router for some specific work. Have seen the Maslows since the first kickstarter campaign, an am curious if anybody’s done something really large…
I need to work in the 65" x 90" range…

The firmware should support that. The issue is that as the chains get really really long there starts to be more and more sag in them. You’d probably be pushing the limits of what’s doable in the 65" direction.
