Looking for bit swapping tips

If you have the stock Ridgid router, I found that the housing is electrically connected to the bit. This means that you don’t have to get a clip all the way into the bit. I also need to do a little more checking, but it might also be the case that the bit is connected to the ground of the z-axis, so do take that into account (I say this because the z-axis motor housing is also electrically connected to the bit on my router).

Anyway, I would hope that all the Ridgid routers are set up this way and it’s not the case that mine is just dangerous :slight_smile:
