New to this: Setting up: Unistrut frame setup. Will this work?

Hi, I just got my kit and Im setting everything up and trying to figure out how I want to make the frame for cnc. I was thinking of doing it vertically to save space in my shop. Ideally I would like to use my steel framed shelf I have and tweak some things using more unistruts to bring the workspace out at the bottom to make it 20 degrees to make it work. Based on the picture can I make this work? Please help me and let me know if this is doable.

Thank you!

There are two problems.

  1. the maslow does not work well when the frame is exactly vertical. The
original suggestion was a 15% angle, but people are now suggesting 20 degrees or
    more.

  2. the frame needs to be significantly larger than your workspace, so that
sheving unit may give you far less space than you think. play around with the
tools at these two links to see what size workspace you can fit into the green
    area for your frame size

Yea, I just corrected myself. I plan on having more unistruts at the bottom to connect the two and bring the project out to the 20 degrees recommended.

I think it should work! As long as it is all rigid enough and there isn’t too much flex!
