Hi, Thank you very much for your advice regarding chain cleaning!

Tomorrow will be when I make all of these significant changes to my frame as well as clean the chains.

That said, would you recommend that I let my chains sit/soak in anything other than the bath of degreaser with soapy water overnight? (for about 12hrs)

If you wouldn’t recommend that… would you recommend that I just let the chain sit in that bath of soapy water and degreaser overnight? (for about 12 hrs)

I am just not sure because I wouldn’t want to do any additional harm to my chains …but on the other hand I think that letting it soak in something could make it easier to clean for tomorrow.

Honestly, I’m not sure.

Every time I did a deep clean on my chains, I made it a point to dry them immediately and soak them in something that would displace all the water so that they wouldn’t rust.

I don’t know if soaking them overnight would harm them - I don’t know enough about the chains that came with the Maslow to guess.
