After having the chains fall off every time I took off the router I couldn’t stand it any more… I ordered a huge box of thick flexible stainless steel washers and used the bender to make these chain guards. They seem to work great. I haven’t had the chain come off at all since I put them on. Super simple, place under 2 mounting shown in the photo and your done.
I’ll be offering a few more of my mods in the near future that I think are essential.
