Ver 1.05 to 1.10 Upgrade Problem

I am unable to do a FW upgrade from 1.05 to 1.10. The User Guide shows the FluidNC file explorer with three files, two of which are Maslow related. I have accomplished locating the YAML and .gz files location. After I update the ver 1.10 FW from the FluidNC program the Maslow4.1 restarts its motors and fans but the FluidNC Settings page still shows Ver 1.05.

I’m missing something simple; but what?

Have you updated the index.html?

I missed that the firmware isn’t uploaded with the files interface, but rather
the button next to it

I had added the index.html.gz, favicon.ico and maslow.yaml files to the FluidNC files interface. I am using the buttons in the FluidNC Settings to do an OTA update of the firmware, bin file.

Still no joy. I’m still missing something. Help!

Where did it get too? What messages are you getting? You will need to update your maslow.yaml file with your anchor positions from your old V1.05 maslow.yaml file

Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, we’re talking about this number here:

What do you see if you press “Test”?

No

I was looking at the version number directly under the FluidNC Settings label in the center of the page.

When I use the Test function I get

Index.html Version: 1.05
[MSG:INFO: Firmware Version: 1.10]
[MSG:INFO: I2C Timeout: ]
[MSG:INFO: 10]
[MSG:WARN: Magnet not detected on Top Left

Not sure about the Magnet not detected issue. Any ideas why the Version number on the FluidNC SETTINGS page isnt updated?

Can you post a screenshot? I’m not sure I’ve seen that version number.

This is letting us know that the index.html.gz file needs to be updated

This is pretty important. This is telling us that the magnet on the top left arm isn’t facing towards the encoder chip which will prevent it from working right

I’ll be taking my unit apart to investigate the magnet issue. It’s interesting as I have been running the belts in and out and they all seem to be working.
How or where do I edit the index.html.gz file? I "thought " I used the file in the ver 1.10 zipped package. I don’t know where the .gz and .yaml file are stored on my computer.
Thanks for the help
