Version 0.926 is out that fixes the resume button when you refresh the browser (would revert back to pause and then you couldn’t resume). Also, board management when in metric mode has an issue that will be fixed in the next release. I don’t think anyone is using this feature, so I’ll just include it in the next build after other issues are addressed.
I do all my cutting in metric. What is the issue?
It’s specifically related to board management (the feature that lets you track where you’ve cut on your boards). If you process gcode in metric mode it doesn’t convert the home location to inches as it should… this has nothing to do with cutting or anything.
upgrade via phone (android chrome browser) doesn’t work. when upgrading from a desktop browser, I get a new window that shows the versions available, but from the android it just goes back to the main menu (this is upgrading from about a week ago)
Yeah, I never did a mobile template file… will add to list.
Went ahead and did a minor release update to address board management, mobile html template for upgrade, and default G90 positioning if missing from gcode…
Seems like there was an issue with a recent change that might have broken the ability to do an upgrade from within webcontrol. There’s a new release that I believe resolves this issue… try to upgrade to it if you can, otherwise, you will have to do it manually.
I’ve created a new release that puts us in position to better manage releases…
To avoid some of the recent issues we’ve had, we will start making releases marked as ‘experimental’ before releasing them as ‘stable’. This will afford us an opportunity to have people, that are inclined to do so, test out the release before its sent to the general public. To minimize the changes to the code, I’ve made it so that releases that end in an even digit are ‘stable’ and releases that end in an odd digit are ‘experimental’.
This release adds a new setting under Settings->WebControl Settings called ‘Enable Experimental Releases’. By default, its disabled. Odd number releases after v0.931 will only appear in the Help->Update list if you have this setting enabled.
Note, you may have to download the file manually. I had problems with release upgrades for all releases since some time in January and then I goofed in the build process on making 0.931. I believe 0.932 is stable.
Is this finally the answer to my prayers?
Hi guys been away from my maslow for about a year but its been in the back of my mind. Hoping things have improved since i was never quite able to get it to run to my satisfaction. Is this an all in 1 solution to get it running again? Im going to start from scratch and is this compatible with the blue smoke as I purchased one but never installed it but i would like to install it then start over from square one.
Yes.
I recommend trying the holey calibration firmware that’s included (Actions->Upgrade Holey Calibration Firmware).
NICE!!! Thank you so much for all your hard work
Just installed .932 single folder and when I run it even in administrator mode I get this then it disappears.
My computer isn’t hooked to my maslow im just trying to run the software does this matter?
Hmm… are you running a computer with windows 32?
Just noticed its says C:\users\john … I don’t have a user named john??
There may be a problem with the win32 build. Are you actually using 32-bit windows?
windows7 home premium
32-bit or 64-bit?
64 now that I look. Ill try downloading the 64bit version. Whats with the C:\users\john … does that matter?
Might mean something was wrong with the win32 build (John is my name).
