the park seems to have a bug where it goes too far up on the z and i even had it get stuck trying to raise it till it paused at 170 mm when i hit pause
Maslow-serial (43).log (9.8 KB)
Go to Options then Set Park and check Park Z value. By default, it is 2mm, according to your log file it looks like its set to 30mm. The Park Z is added to Home Z to ensure the bit is lifted clear of the material before moving.
If you have a home Z of 45mm and a park Z of 30, the Maslow will try to raise the router bit to 75mm which will take it off the screws (top 72mm). The maths still thinks the Maslow is 75mm which can lead to position errors.
When this happens you need to re-zero the Z axis before it will be accurate again.
thank you
Maslow-serial (46).log (8.2 KB) i made the park only 5 mm but after my cut when i tell it to park it still raised it till it topped out, it seems to be combining the park and z home in a weird way and not going off the right z home first and just adding it to where it is or something along those lines
Looking at you serial log, it appears you are using inches, and what is happening is the Maslow is not converting back to mm prior to moving to park, so it is actually raising the Maslow to 5 inches above the Z home. This is a bug, which I will look at now. In the meantime, try setting the Park value to ,01mm, which will only just clear the job surface
This version has not been released yet, it may do unexpected things. It should fix the issue you are having with the Park function. You will need to load index.html.gz with the 1st Green button (Manage local files) under FliudNC and the Orange button (Upload firmware file manually) for firmware.bin
index.html.gz (139.4 KB)
firmware.bin (1.9 MB)
Please let know how you get on.
i have updated it with the files, now it will not calibrate when tensioning the belts right, it keeps ending up at a 15 deviation instead of under 12
i changed back the files now it keeps flashing the red light at me and making me reset it before i can even try to cut when im trying to get it ready to cut when i am messing with the z axis trying to raise it for the next cut after defining the new home and z stop
it is restarting with the positions saved tho to where i just have to apply tension again, gonna try the cut again now
apply Tension. Just select [quote=“Caleb_Yager, post:8, topic:26114”]
now it will not calibrate when tensioning the belts right,

If you are going to run Find anchors, don’t Apply Tension, just go straight to Find Anchors. Apply Tension assumes you have properly configured anchor points, Find Anchors doesn’t.
it worked after another restart
i just meant calibrate as in making sure the point deviation is not off
This is generally the sign that the controller has detected some sort of an error, it should list what the error is in the log file or the text over on the right side of the window
