Z motor issue - intermittent

For me, there is an issue that one of the z-axis stepper motors is hard to turn. Here is what was suggested:

Only one z axis motor port is working (new build)

Raise the Router until it off the Z motor screws to ensure it not jamming one side. you can wind them up manually if required. First prove the fault into the control board or not by swapping the Z connections. If the fault follows the port it is likely a faulty control board. Which you have done, so you will probably need a new board. Some people have had some success resoldering the board, but not everyone.
