I played around with this and it’s fantastic! The play in those bolts makes a huge difference for how tight the gears are. I can make it too tight or not tight at all by messing with those.
I’ll update the assembly instructions. Great find!

I have been on pause with my M4 build as I needed to get the router (now acquired) and other life happenings. With that being said, since I was up to the install router portion, i am not too far off to open up the arms and adjust as noted before I proceed. Thanks for including this in the update, and I think I know what I’ll be doing this weekend. Grat find @Arichards!!

I had these troubles retracting my belts initially. Two wouldn’t move at all, even at max current allowed. I did this procedure in the course of getting it to work a month ago, not all at once, but in stages until all were extending and retracting at low current. This is often the case with new robotic drivetrains. Things loosen up and align with working.
