1 step motor not working - bad control board?

This morning when I tried to setup my maslow (after a several month hiatus) one step motor wouldn’t work. One side rises and lowers but the other side doesn’t move. I swapped the cables to see if it was the motor or something else (ie: plugged the “north” motor into the “south” part of the board) and the the “bad” step motor started working. So this confirms to me that both motors are working properly and the problem lies elsewhere. Has anybody else experienced this? I’m assuming I might need a new control board?

This does sound like a control board issue, I will DM you a code for a free replacement right now.

Hey @bar, just wanted to let you know that the board arrived today. That seems to have fixed my issue.

Thanks for the great support (as always)!:slightly_smiling_face:

Excellent! I’m glad to hear it. It’s a bummer that we had so many bad ones, but at least the solution is clear
