192.168.0.1 doesn’t open FluidNC after uploading index.html.gz

Using MacBook to access FluidNC to be able to operate the Maslow4 was able to access it previously then updated the index.html.gz now MacBook gives me a prompt of:
Safari can’t open the page
Safari can’t open the page “http://192.168.0.1/“. The error is: “cannot decode raw data” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1015)

How do I fix this or how do I factory reset the machine to try restarting the whole process over

I have had the maslow go on different addresses after changing Wifi settings. Using www.findmymaslow.com helped to find it again. With me it shows up as 192.168.0.204 when I go through the home wifi router, if connected directly to the Maslow it has the 192.168.0.1 location, so check if your macbook is on the right network. . Sometimes you have to run the findmymaslow a couple of times.
Also: what OS are you using on the MacBook, I am an old school mac user, I like Mavericks OS, but found out that the FluidNC didn’t like that and gave me error:82.
Now I use High Sierra and Firefox and it seems to work pretty good.
And, did you also update the maslow.yaml file when you updated the index file?

My MacBook is running MacOS Sonoma. When I use the find my Maslow it sits at 0% for a very long time doesn’t find anything. I did also upload the Maslow.yaml file as well as do a firmware update on it but have no access anymore to change files or delete files to try re fixing it anymore.

Are you connecting directly to the “maslow” wifi address or is the machine connecting to your home wifi network?

If you are connecting to your home wifi network you can type maslow.local into the address bar to connect

When I try Maslow.local it doesn’t load anything chrome says site can’t be reached and safari just doesn’t load it at all.
And when I try findmymaslow.com it also says No machines found

Is this happening when connecting to the “maslow” wifi network or when connecting to your home wifi network?

I have tried both ways on everything with both my WiFi and the Maslow WiFi even dual booted my Mac to try on windows side and still get nothing

So you are able to see the maslow wifi network and connect to it (join the wifi network) but then when you try to navigate to 192.168.0.1 you can’t connect to the machine?

One option if you have a windows computer and a USB cable is to run the full_install.bat in the folder here fluidnc-maslow4-0.73.-win64.zip which will fully reset your machine to factory settings and re-install everything.

I’m really surprised that there is a maslow wifi network being created but that you aren’t able to access the machine when connected to it. I would expect if something was really really wrong that the wifi network wouldn’t be created at all, or if it was created you wouldn’t be able to connect to it.

This is the prompt after running that program:

  • ---- Erasing flash- *

Could Not Find C: Windows\system32. bat

  • ---- Installing filesystem. *

*install-fs.bat’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,

operable program or batch file.

  • Installing filesystem FAILED! *

Press any key to continue . . .

Update: I fixed it forgot to unpack the zip file for that program and everything seems to be working now. Thank you for all the help.
