Am I doing this right?
I’m following the video here: Putting it all together 4.1 — Maslow
Around 26 sec. bar places the router onto the sled & twists the Z-axes motors to lower it down.
It looks like the motor shafts twisted pretty easily, but I’m having a hard time getting them to twist & lower the router. I got it to move down 1/2" or so. I tried lifting the router so there wasn’t as much weight on the nuts, but it didn’t seem to make a difference. It doesn’t look like I have anything miss-aligned. Is this normal?
Mine turn easily. Are both side at the same height?
Yes, both sides are at the same height.

just to confirm, you are doing this with the power off.
can you turn them easily befor eyou put the router on them?

Yes, I was doing this with the power off.
I didn’t try spinning them before I put the router on it.
I just now connected to the Maslow UI. ran the Z-axes up to make sure it came off the shafts & then ran it down & it all seems to be running fine.
I did similar. I never tried spinning them manually.
