This is designed for 10 mm plywood. Would it make sense to share this version or make an “inches” version?1/2"?

It should be easy to convert it. You can either make it in inches and share it or upload the dxf file for people to edit it in a cad program on their own.

What CAD program did you use to design it? I would share it as is and post the CAD files so that someone else in the future can edit them for any thickness they want

I use an old V16 version of Solid Edge (2004), spared by the company when Solid Edge ST9 was bought.
I will prepare a dxf file and stp/igs, as is.
