Chain tensioner on the top beam - Any changes needed

Hi, I’m really interested in this chain tensioner positioned on the top beam (Picture currently in the assembly instructions page). I notice that the chain connecting to the router is feeding from the bottom of the gear, rather than the top of the gear when the tensioner is on the side. Is there any change in calibration that is needed for this arrangement?

To position small projects, I have found myself pushing the sheet of plywood around, so I like having the tensioners out of the way.

Thanks

If your setup was already calibrated with the ‘over-the-top’ arrangement, you only need to change the setting in the Advanced section, no other calibration needed. Otherwise, there is a step in the new calibration process to choose which setup you are using, before attaching the chains to the sled.

To be clear - there is anow a “bottom feed” setting that you want to set in ground control.

Thank you

Thanks to all. I just downloaded the newest version and I’ll see if this works.

You probably really want 1.09 which is coming out later today…or you can grab an early copy here:

Yeah, since I can’t complete the calibration . . .
