While cutting some stands I accidentally selected ran one conventional (top) instead of climb (bottom). Is this an expected amount of difference or is there some setting I need to recalibrate? Both of these were cut fairly close to the center of the machine.
did you ever get this figured out? Seems like there should not be that big of a difference between the 2?
Switching to the meticulous Z axis made a big difference in fixing this. I think the main issue was the router being slightly loose in the default mount.
I also started running two passes where I have patience. I do one pass in whatever direction leaves the most part then do one final pass in the opposite direction. With that I get joints I can assemble by hand without cleanup (see cargo boxes in projects.)
