Completed calibration, but something is off

[MSG:INFO: Flex measurement: TLBR: 1.153 TRBL: 4.468] — this one is a strange one. Flex should be similar between those no?

I haven’t, could you please describe how to sequence?

Manual measurements are:
BR>BL 2940
BR>TR 2424
TR > TL 2939
BL > TL 2431

I measured from the middle of anchor bolts.

How do I enter those here? (these are calculated ones)

Got it

I can only base on what I’ve seen, but I’d question if one pair / one arm still has a good chunk of stiction.

Man, I sanded the a lot of material off, smooth it out, hand spooled it to check, added some teflon lube. It’s possible, I might order another set of arms/gears.

I put manual measurements in, seem slightly better but not perfect.

I could well be wrong - don’t take it as gospel - it’s just what I’d investigate first.

Once put back together can you still rock the spool back and forward a tiny bit? There needs to be a tiny bit of free belt (if I’ve retraced all the belts I’ll set extension to 10/20mm and extend all).

Once put back together can you still rock the spool back and forward a tiny bit? — if you mean before you retract it, yeah

(if I’ve retraced all the belts I’ll set extension to 10/20mm and extend all)
So you will extend 10-20mm first? And then to normal extension? I dont think I understand the “free belt” part

I think if you can rock the belts it’s probably fine. Interesting to see quite such a high difference between the different diagonals

The free belt comment was just to do with checking they rocked.

I see, two do wiggle, other dont

If I push some belt in so it unravels from the spool a bit, then you I wiggle those other two as well. So maybe the belts binds a little bit still between the gear and the arm? It doesn’t feel like it’s stuck or anything. I ran calibration/retraction at 1000

Does this change at all if you have, say, 1m / 2m / 3m of the belt extended - so there’s less belt on the spools?

@RandomDave I will test that out in the next round.

UPD:

Ran a production test, more boring drawers. Not perfect, but much better this time!
I started calibration by inputing my numbers (anchor coordinates and belt heights). Calibration went ok. Sled lift in bottom left mostly gone, but now it lifts up a bit in top left. I was able to press on the bottom of the sled with a finger while cutting to prevent that.

When I took apart one of the arms that was suspicious, I found yet another broken magnet gear, bottom stem (not magnet one) was snapped off, glued it back on.

Overall, dimensions are way better, almost exact, but not quite. I was able utilize a full 4x8 sheet.

Also if you wondering if Maslow can cut ⅜ plywood in one pass, it can. Outer bit got loose (incorrect tab placement on my part, one of loose pieces must have unscrewed the collar) and plugged through the spoil board. Luckily I was near by and caught it, before things went south more.

I found those little hinges that help top place the sheet before screwing it in (they flip down out of the way).

This is looking great!

I was wondering and that is awesome to hear, I hadn’t tried anything that aggressive so that’s awesome!

Correction, ¾!
