Cutting log sign on maslow

Has anyone thought through what a person would need to do in order to carve a log sign on the maslow?
I did a little searching on the site but didn’t see anything.

What I was thinking was I would either need to cut a hole in my backing board or extend the motors out in plain with my log face.

If anyone has ideas or experience, I would love to hear.

Alternatively make a router template using the Maslow.

Oh that makes a lot of sense. I suppose I could double stick tape for letters like O. I could also keep them connected and then freehand the connected bit.

I have talked a few times about making the positioning of the top beam
adjustable, you could use unistrut angle brackets (the triangle type, not the
flat types) and then you can get a lot of adjustability out of the machine.
