Cutting/possible calibration issue?

Hello again all - I ran a test cut this evening and things generally went much better. The cut completed at least. I just did a very simple 200mm square and circle to test accuracy after my calibration. Depth was fairly close - within .8mm. The shape profiles, however, were squashed. The square ended up 208mm x 185mm and the circle was a similar oval. Could this just mean I need to run calibration again? Maybe there has been some belt stretch or maybe adding the dust collection hose after the calibration threw things off?

Also, I am noticing that there is some slop/space in-between the arms. Could that be contributing? I realize they need to rotate freely but is that accurate to the design of the machine? It doesn’t seem like the top and bottom clamps can move too much.

yes, this is probably a poor calibration. what fitness did you get from your
calibration?

you should be able to run it again. If you post the log here we can look and see
if anything stands out.

The design does put about 3mm of play in the arms, it should not matter (I
purchased a sheet of teflon to cut out spacers, but have not done so yet)
