FluidNC or using maslow control on another machine

Writing in the no judgment section because I have a shapeoko kit from 14 years ago that I never have put together. Now that I have the maslow up and running and having fun it feels like a nice pair to do delicate work with the shapeoko and then larger stuff with the maslow. The old machine has a grbl setup on an arduino but I am impressed with how good the web interface for the maslow is. I see that the fluid nc people make a Corgi board or other boards. I would need 4 motors, three axes and limit switches. Would it be possible to use a standard kinematics xyz module with maslow’s interface. Does anyone here have advice or thoughts about which control board to buy or use for closest ease of operation with maslow? It looks like I should buy a corgi board and then figure out external stepper motor drivers? Any advice would be welcome. : )

Yes! I want to say that if you get the appropriate board (probably this one 6 Pack for External Drivers | Wiki.js) then it should basically just work.

I haven’t tested it, but if you have any issues let us know and we can figure them out!
