Upon opening Ground Control (GC) it automatically closes out, with this message flashing on the screen
“NOTIFICATION: Unable to find valid machine position for chain lengths 0.00,0.00. Please set the chains to a known length (Actions > Set Chain Lengths)… CONTINUE” Displaying so quickly in fact that I couldn’t read it. I had to record it and replay in slowmow to figure out what it was saying.
I overcame GC automatically closing out by clicking on the Home icon on GC as it was trying to connect to the COM3.
In additon, its setting an error message: “error: EEPROM read fail. Using default settings”
