I admit it, I am too lazy to figure this out. That being said when is the Ground Control Window’s executable going to be updated to match the Firmware. I think it is one step behind.

Not lazy, and it’s probably something others wonder about as well.
The GC release matches the firmware release. After each release, the version number is bumped up so that any issues from post-release changes be reported against the new version number.
Th get in sync, either use both release versions, or download both master branches. The master branch of GC isn’t packaged into a single executable for Windows or OSX, though.
