Help! Cut does not look like the design- warped and wrong size

Hey there!

Sorry to bother you but school is about to start and we really want to get this thing up and running.

We are stuck at a problem and don’t know how to solve it. I created a nc file using easle, and then checked it out in ncviewer.com and then imported it into ground control where it looks fine, but the cut is way off. The left side is sloped oddly and it only measures 7.5 inches from top to bottom when the original file was 10 inches.

the only thing I can think of is its a calibration issue. wondering if anyone else had a similar problem.

Any idea what is going on? We tried everything but have not figured it out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

That certainly sounds like the calibration is wrong. Have you been through the calibration sequence? Have you made any physical changes to the machine since calibration? You might try running the ‘Actions/SetChinLength-Automatic’ to get the chains back in position.
