HELP!....This is a M2 problem

I’ve been running my M2 without problems for a long time, I did have to change the Arduino Board “Tle5206” 1 and 1/2 years ago because I had problems with the Z-Axis. I’m running Ground Control and Firmware 1.26
Here’s my problem Halfway thru the cut it starts going on its own way and when I press the stop button nothing happens, I had to unplug it from the wall to stop the cut, once I set the chains back to its known position, I started the cut and again it went its own way but this time in a different spot. What do i need to fix this?
Thanks in advance

Did you change out your computer running it. Sounds like your USB ports could be going to sleep. It is a power save more, that happens without any indication. There are settings in Windows to switch it off.

Thanks @TimS I know nothing about Computers, I have my computer set to never go to sleep, didn’t know USB ports go to sleep and if so, where do I turn it off?
Thank you

Ps… about an hour before this happen it stopped cutting and i got a message that said “system Timed Out”

was that system timeout message in the groundcontrol software?

Yes, then it went back to normal, I started to cut again and after 3 minutes that’s when it went on its own

When this happens are both motors spinning or just one motor? Could it be an issue of one of the motors losing connection?

I would expect to get an error message when it gets off position.

In Windows 11, search USB in settings or go to Bluetooth and devices → USB → USB battery saver.

In Windows 10, control panel → power options → change advanced power settings → USB settings → USB selective suspend setting

This may not be your problem but may be worth trying.
