How to load G Code from USB with raspberry pi

Hello All,

I just finished my calibration and would like to start on the final sled. I have the G code save to a USB, how do i load this in Ground Control that is installed on a Raspberry Pi? I’m guessing there is a file path to get to the USB drive but i’m not able to locate one. Any support would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Hello @scootboot!

I don’t have any personal experience with a Raspberry Pi but I would expect it to work by clicking Actions -> Open File

Let me know if that doesn’t work for you!

If you’re using a standard Raspbian or Ubuntu build on your Pi, the USB will auto-mount and should be visible in Ground Control’s file browser.

I can’t say for sure with Kivy Pie, though. It’s built on Raspbian so the chances are good.

If you can’t find the USB drive in GC, report back. We may need to mount it manually.
