I can not calibrate this machine. Am I stupid?

no, you are not stupid. Perhaps at an entry level of experience, so there is much to learn. It sounds like you have an M2. If so, you are best to go with the latest makerverse version 1.1.2. There is a wiki here on the forum where there is some information on its basics and a link in the calibration area to a video that will walk you through the calibration. I wrote the basics and made the video. Message me if you get stuck.
