Bought M4 waiting on delivery. Have never done any CNC but have maker space license to Vcarve Pro. Should I learn Vcarve as preparation for getting my Maslow? Does Vcarve play well with Maslow?

V carve is an excellent program and will work great with Maslow. The only negative is that it’s expensive and that’s not a problem since you already have it

Sorry to jump on this thread but can the Maslow do V bit cutting with the Vcarve software?
Yes, the only difference between V bit cutting and end mill cutting is the gcode that tells the machine how to move the bit. Just make sure your bit will fit into the 1/4 in collet of the router or buy a different size collet to fit your bit.
