Tried this today and worked exactly as expected.

I know Iā€™m asking a lot of questions in a lot of different places but I donā€™t think each warrants itā€™s own thread soā€¦

In GC, what is the different between the red dots and the green dots? It obviously suggests the red dots are z-axis changes, and once they turn green or partially green they are completed?

I noticed today the project I was cutting did some WEIRD stuff, like cutting half depth letters and then returning way later to finish them. Iā€™ve taken a bunch of photos Iā€™ll post the project when complete with explanations.

I think red is going into the work and green is moving out of the work

Thatā€™s a matter of your CAM and how it plans the work.

you want to set it to go depth first so that it finishes the cut instead of
cutting the first X amount anywhere on the board and then going back to do the
next X amount of depth.
