Issues with MakerCam and Dadoes

I have a High Chair that I’m trying to make for my grandson that I want to Dado in a few parts. When I import the drawing into MakerCam and try to select the profile of the part, it includes any dadoes that come up to the edge as part of the profile (see image). Is there any way to correct this in MakerCam?

Parts drawing was done in Onshape. https://cad.onshape.com/documents/31553245f98c88d3f6071f62/w/8ff53da1eb1474cf2910bec9/e/4124d2cc9d27d2e16f98669b

I have had that same issue and I haven’t found a good solution. In OpenDesk files they have redrawn (by hand?) The dadoes so that they go past the edge line. I have taken the opposite approach in the past and moved the edge of the slot in from the edge of the chair just a tiny amount so that they are separate lines which works but feels like a hack not a real solution.
