L-shaped brackets VS ring

Hi,
I have my Maslow kit since a while but didn’t have time to use it much. I still have the L-shaped brackets to attach the chains to the sled. I’ve noticed nobody seem to use this system and everybody have shifted to the ring system.
Would it be a better idea to upgrade to the ring or L brackets are just fine also?

Thanks for your input!

Most people have shifted to some form of triangular kinematics system for improved accuracy. Whether if the brackets, aka quadrilateral kinematics, is “just fine” really depends upon what you are trying to do and what accuracy you need. For triangular kinematics…

There’s @pillagethenburn’s design:

and then the ring kit (not sure who is selling them at the moment)
