Fun new frame that works well.
The general idea is to have three large spikes that anchor a T into the ground. Then to add an overhanging bit to put a pin through to attach the maslow anchor. These raise the belts off the ground. I have not checked for accuracy but they are certainly solid. You can go very large like 10 by 14 so that you have good accuracy over a central 4 by 8 area. I am making these so that I can take it into school with maybe a 4 by 3 workpiece and spoilboard and pack all of it on the back of the bike.
The new find anchors protocol works really well and very fast.
Safety note. Know where sprinkler lines are. These spikes are the right length to slide right through.
These pictures might look a little weird as they are using wire loops for belt extensions.
One 8 foot 2 by 4, some screws, 16 large spike nails, one piece of a pallet for the tops.
Cut the 2x4 in 2 foot lengths, cut a little piece about 2 inches of the end of each to make a foot.
Cut the remaining wood in not quite half.
Make a T with the 2 pieces of 2x4, leaving about an inch open at the top of the T
Screw the T together, add the extra 2 inch part as a foot to keep it level
screw on a piece of scrap board on top to drill through for the anchor pin.
Drill 3/8 inch holes in the ends of the T for the stakes, Drill one more through the top of the scrap wood where it overhangs the end of the t to make a place to attach the anchor.
