is there an update to this? the ring kit that is sold now is not configured in this manor.

I measured it in QCad and it’s not quite the same?

You are correct, the spacing is not quite even. It’s actually a coincidence that they are so close. The spacing is based on how much distance is needed for the chains to move through their full range of motion.

Ok but seems weird that they’re off in that direction.

Is this the correct measurements then?

Oh hang on, I’m totally misunderstanding what is going on here. I thought we were talking about the ring. I actually don’t know anything about the linkages :grimacing:

They need to be exact same around the router-bit/centre.

you can make the linkages any size. The 4 holes make a box that is NxN in size
the linkage bars will then be Nx1.41 (sqrt of 2)
Early linkage kits were 9"
the linkage bars we made were 7"
I’ve thought about making bars that are exactly the same rotational radius as the ring kit which is 138.4mm but then the bars get really close to the router and it is harder to make a z axis work with out getting in the way.
