Makerverse on Rpi 3B+

Right above the links to the Windows/Mac/Raspberry Pi releases, The MakerVerse web site states that 1.1.3 is the most current release (screen shot attached). However, the IMG file linked to by the page contains the 1.0.6 release. Executing apt update/upgrade does not change the MakerHub version.

How do I get 1.1.3 for the Raspberry Pi 3B?

you get from 1.06 to 1.1.3 by doing the update after it is installed.

I ran the usual “apt update/upgrade” with no effect on MakerHub.

Is there some other process to upgrade?

there is a checkbox to run prerelease beta versions. you might need to enable this and then restart it. it should pull the latest when it restarts.

I dont want to run beta versions. I want the most recent stable. To my understaing that is 1.1.3 correct?

you can get it here:

Thanks, Ive looked at the GitHub releases before. It is not clear to me which release will work on the 3B and it is not documented that I have found.

Do you know which of these packages will run on the Raspberry Pi?

pretty sure it is the linux-ia32 version

Thanks much. WIll try.

ia32 should be intel architecture 32 bit, you should be looking for arm

Therein lies the problem. None of the releases, based on file name at least, appear to be ARM.

However, based on posts here it appears that there are people running 1.1.3 on Rpi 3B.

How they got to that point is what I am trying to find out.

Any hints?

Not in the Raspberry Pi version from the image linked to on the MakerVerse web site (version 1.0.6).
