Total new guy here. We bought a used unit off ebay (looking forward to being able to buy a new 4.1 but needed a machine for a job now), complete and working, maslow 4.0 that is I believe a year or two old. Got it connected to our local network and before anything else went looking into updating the firmware (Seems I have v0.75), since I figured that would be the best way to get latest features, fixes etc. However I downloaded the firmware.bin v1.05 (latest) and go into fluidNC to upload that… then it gets to around 15% progress and tells me it lost the connection to the machine. After a minute or two, if I refresh the webpage, it will reconnect.
Then, I tried v1.04. Same thing.
Is it a compatibility issue that the older machine won’t take newer firmware meant for the maslow 4.1? Or do I literally just not have enough space on my maslow’s memory (I see what I believe are some NC/G-code files listed, must’ve been left on there by the previous owner).
Will attach the fluidNC status and serial log that I have.
Thanks!
