Maslow 4 v1.24.0 - Retract works but Extend All keeps belts locked

Hi,

I’m setting up a brand new Maslow 4.

I updated to v1.24.0 using:

  • firmware.bin
  • index.html.gz
  • maslow.yaml

The update completed successfully.

Current behavior:

  • TEST passes on all four belt motors.
  • Retract All succeeds.
  • State changes to Retracted.
  • When I click Extend All, the state changes to Extending.
  • I hear a very brief vibration/fan noise, but none of the belts release.
  • All four belts remain mechanically locked and cannot be pulled out by hand, even when pulling firmly.
  • All motor connectors have been checked.

Has anyone seen this before?

The setup video mentions the ends of the belts have to be rocked side-to-side and then they can be retracted. This works for me. If I try and pull without rocking then the belts are locked. After rocking, I can feel the belts unlock then I can extend.

Does the fan then turn off? Does it stay in the “extending” state?

The first thing that comes to mind is could the extend distance be set to 0?
