Thanks Orob, there’s no maslow but there are 2 grbls , grbl inch and grbl mm, since i work with inches I’LL choose that
stay safe and thanks again

They should both work since the machine will read gcode in either inches or mm. The inch vs mm relates to the gcode generated, not the original design so either one should be OK.

Thanks bar…good to know.

Hi. New to Maslow and just got my build and calibration done, so looking at next steps to get cutting. My understanding of this thread suggests that as long as the CAM software that I use (typically either Fusion or DeskProto is what I use) has a GRBL post-processor I would be OK to just use that. Is my understanding correct?

Reviving this thread because I wasn’t getting clarity going through the docs and the recent Kickstarter means there will be more folks like me who are jumping in without the benefit of experience on previous versions.

That is my understanding that basic grbl post for fusion should be fine. Fair warning I haven’t tried yet myself.

yes, a grbl post processor should be good to use. Ideally a fluidnc post
processor, but I think fluidnc folks use grbl

There is a Maslow post-processor available for Fusion, and to my knowledge it is maintained to some degree. It’s been working for me…
