Model number of stepper motors and gearmotors

I’m very new to the Maslow 4. In order to learn how it all comes together, I am assembling a Maslow 4 machine virtually in my CAD program (Rhino3D if you’re curious).

I just can’t seem to be able to find this information anywhere. I tried searching everywhere on the Maslow site, including the forum and Github. Would someone please tell me the model number of the stepper motors that are used for the Maslow 4? I would also like to know the model number of the 4 gearmotors.

I would appreciate this information. Thanks in advance!

They are both custom made so they don’t have a model number unless you want to give them one :grinning:

OK, fair enough  Could I please have the dimensions? I am assembling everything virtually as a kind of test run so I can familiarize myself before ordering the kit. Thanks!

They won’t win any awards, but here are my models for them

DC Motor.step (16.9 KB)
Stepper Motor.step (25.8 KB)

Thank you very much Bar. I appreciate it! :grinning:

Just curious, why did you go a custom route on the motors? Are they custom due to design necessities and specifications, lack of availability of appropriate non-custom parts, cost, or another reason altogether? I would think finding non-custom motors would be most cost effective, so probably not cost.

At large enough quantities to get decent prices basically everything is custom so even ordering an “off the shelf” motor is going to be a custom production run. For the stepper motors it was pretty necessary to customize them because of the need for the integrated leadscrew and compact height. The DC motors are a fairly standard size, but we got to pick the gear ratio that is right for us.

I believe it ended up being shaft length.
