My Maslow 4.1 Setup - Photos and Details

Hi everyone,

Finally got my Maslow 4.1 up and running. Thought I’d share my setup and workspace in case it’s useful for others or gets some improvement ideas.

I have a dedicated workshop space. I’m planning to set up a work table so I can cut on the table instead of on the floor. For this, I made adjustable holders with slots — allows precise height adjustment. I also designed quick-release mounts that clamp with a single bolt — convenient and secure. Photos attached.

For the anchors, I made a special stop that makes measuring easier — works with both laser and regular tape measures. On one side I place the laser, on the other side it hits a special paddle/reflector. Very convenient for accurate measurements.

As you can see in the photo, a metal washer is embedded in the anchor - I inserted it during printing. This reinforces the bolt mounting point and prevents the plastic from deforming under load.

This looks awesome! Very well thought out!

Can I add this to the frame library wiki?

Yes. Of course.

You nailed it with this idea! I was actually looking for a way to put my Maslow chair because the floor is tiled and I didn’t want to break the tiles. Thanks!

I’ll add a couple more photos and show how I made the mounting washer.
This is a trimmed washer with a nut pressed into it; there’s no need to weld it.
