Need Help with the Original Maslow

HELP. I know you guys are busy with the new M4. But my problem Is with
The original MASLOW Bought in 2019, had. Firmware 1.26 And ground control. 1.26.
My old computer crashed, and I had to buy a new computer with Win 11.
What exactly do I need to do to have it working like the old computer?
I’m not a computer guy, so. I need good detail On what and how to set it up.
Someone please respond. Thank you in advance.
Guru.

The easiest option is probably to install webcontrol on a raspberry Pi and then
use a browser from your new computer.

Other people will probably pop up with options for using Ground Control

The easiest would be to install webcontrol and run it directly off the computer. That is if you want to expose your new computer to the dust. If not then the raspi (which I don’t know how to do)

Thanks @dlang and @TimS First let me say I know nothing about computers other than pressing buttons.I know nothing about webcontrol or how to use it it took me awhile just to learn groundcontrol, do I need WiFi with webcontrol in order to cut things and what else do I need to
download to make it work and will it work with Win 11. do I need to change anything else.

When I went into github it didn’t have release 0.932 but .094 so I downloaded that release and then i opened the exc file and it open webcontrol and looks like groundcontrol but this is what popped up also:

“New installation detected. If you have an existing groundcontrol.ini file you would like to import, please do so now by pressing Actions->Import groundcontrol.ini file before doing anything else.”

what is this, and what do I do now?

Thanks Guys
Gary

.94 is the most updated. If you can’t get it set up from the links of the videos from my post above. I should have time on Saturday to talk you through over the phone. I’m currently living in California, Pacific time zone, and enjoying astronomically high gas prices.

Thanks Tim, I appreciate your help, just so you know I did download Webcontrol and its up and running on my new Windows PC. not necessarily running but I do have an image that looks like Groundcontrol , but when I opened it That notice above popped up, about “Groundcontrol ini file”
have no idea what that is, all programs were in my old computer which crashed, and it doesn’t boot up anymore.
what else do i need to do to start cutting,
does my computer need to connect to the internet to work?
do I have to recalibrate, or can I just adjust the chains like I do with Groundcontrol?
what about the firmware do I need to do anything or is that part of webcontrol?
I’m in New York eastern time, what’s the time dif where you are and how do I get your # or give you mine?
Thanks again
Gary

Should have an icon that looks like the maslow one but blue and a “W”. You will have to set up your machine dimensions and calibrate. But it’s easy. You will want to download the firmware for “holey calibration” it is done through the program. You do not need WiFi or internet to run webcontrol.

Thanks Tim, just so you know my frame is 4x6 and “I only cut 4x4 pieces”, what adjustments do I need to do in webcontrol because of the size?
