No projects this week! 😔

Am I right that there have been no projects posted this week?

By default the project of the week is going to be awarded to anyone who posts anything! Post a picture of an cut and you could get a free router bit! :grinning:

I was going to wait until I was able to completely finish this project, but here’s my most recent build:

It’s a dog-proof catbox that uses a standard stainless serving tray for the litter, a little hallway that will have some astroturf to catch debris, and a sliding top with a fun circular pattern. Also made a little slot to help with lifting the pan out. Still need to seal the wood and don’t have a pic of the astro turf installed, but works great so far! It’s generally another trial project before embarking on some cabinet design and building with the Maslow.

I cut this last night. Though, it is a test cut. I’m making a jewelry box for my wife and doing an inlay on the top of the box. I want to be sure the cuts are right before using the oak that I got for the box. I think it came out really nicely and should be able to make the cut on the oak. Cut was with a 30 degree v bit.

New bases new patches to cut. Set screw loosened up on my z axis causing not to lift, nothing a bit of putty can solve. It’s getting painted with acrylic inlay

Nice! You could maybe even put a mesh filter material on the bottom of the lid to contain odors a bit more.

And you could use the circles you cut out to play some Connect 4!

True! Part of the idea of the holes was so you could see when it needed “attention” so it wouldn’t get too out of hand. haha

Planning on using the circles as little islands for the maslow to move across previously cut out sections, but connect 4 would be a great project!
