Power flickers to the machine when moving on new 4.1

I only see this mentioned on an older model, but just reporting that I see something like it on a new 4.1. When I move the cord around it will flicker, and when nothing is moving it either works fine, or it is off. It doesn’t flicker if nothing at all is moving.

I suspect either a bad connection in the cord, or the socket on the control board is a bit wonky. I’m sort of leaning toward the first. I’m still messing with it so I’ll report back what I figure out if anything, but if anyone has seen something similar I am looking for more info.

Following up, I took apart the end of the cord, right where it plugs in to the machine. Looking underneath the heat shrink sleeve one of the wires was touching, but not soldered fully. A cold solder maybe? The other terminal was great though. I cleaned it up and resoldered it, and it’s doing fine so far! I might not suggest it’s a fix everyone should do themselves, but in case it is helpful, I wanted to share my experience.

Excellent job fixing it!

I am more than happy to send you a replacement power-supply if you would like a backup
