I’m currently building a 1.5 kW ER11 spindle from G-Penny into my Maslow CNC router, and I’d like to share my experience along with the 3D files.
The DeWalt router that’s commonly used for this isn’t easy to get here in Germany, so I decided to go with this spindle instead:
I’ve already 3D printed the first prototype of the spindle mount, as well as the upper part that holds the electronics. Now I’m just waiting on parts to extend the cable lengths for the motors and sensors.

I’ve attached the STEP files for the spindle mount and the electronics housing below, in case anyone wants to adapt them for their own build. Feel free to modify them to fit your needs — if you make any improvements, I’d love to hear about them.

These are the first prints of the mounts. I reused the original Maslow mounts that are designed for the Dewalt router. The whole assembly is held together using the screws from the connector itself.
The spindle’s connector doesn’t need to be desoldered — I’ve designed matching openings/cutouts for it.

I’m interested how you both get on, especially how a stock Maslow does with the extra weight / height - a ‘full size’ spindle is something I’m slowly working towards with my various bits I’ve been doing so how the stock one does would be cool to see!
