SD Card Error when trying to upload G Code File

Ya it’s an adaptive clearing path toolpath made for roughing passes that reduce stress on the bit.

Planning to follow with a finishing pass but that’s where I ran into some issues.

@bar (and others)

I’m running into this sdmmc init issue as well, though perhaps slightly different. (Among other issues). Web-purchased M4, with the last wave controller, firmwares 0.74 and 0.75.

A few seconds after choosing an .nc file from the drop-down (and file is present and available there), M4 will lose network connection and spontaneously reboot. While rebooting, the plot display of the cut will display momentarily, then go blank. Upon reconnect, the yaml is corrupted and sdmmc init fails.

I have a fix PR in for this issue that will let you turn off the heartbeat / disconnect in preferences – if the nc file is too large it takes longer than the 20 seconds fluidnc defaults to. Hopefully this setting will be in this week’s update. see M4 Large NC files if you want to try a pre-release version that has this setting.

Might be a moot point….m4 no longer connects to network, and doesn’t go into AP mode.

I’m having ALL the fun :confused:

(Update: full_install.bat thankfully has me back to square one, albeit an apparently stable square one :slight_smile: )

After running a full reinstall (using full_install.bat from the v0.75 zip), the nc file I was using loads without issue. I haven’t done a new calibration yet, though,and tried loading the file; can’t get to that until the weekend.
