Some one use this CNC ROUTER WITH OSB PANEL BEFORE

I own a SIP panel factory in Chile, and for a long time, I searched for a CNC router capable of cutting OSB. Although the panels are over 4.9 inches thick, I could perform cuts from both sides.

I would like to know if anyone in the group has faced the challenge of cutting pieces thicker than usual, and if they have made cuts on OSB.

the Maslow is a hobbiest machine, not a production machine

Many people have cut on OSB, the maslow is limited to about 3" of vertical
travel, and your bit stickout would need to be exactly right to use all of that.

I know that traditional CNC machines (like the shop bot) can work on materials
that thick. A friend of mine has cut 4x4 beams into wheel chocks using 6"
endmills.

the glue in OSB is hard on cutters, so expect them to dull quickly, but beyond
that and tuning feeds and speeds a little, cutting OSB is not going to be any
different than cutting plywood on any CNC machine.
