Start/Stop Notch Issue

See the picture below. It does this in most places when it starts/stops. Not as noticeable in some places, some are pretty bad. Is there an adjustment that I could make to lessen these? It’s like the machine shifts slightly when it stops/starts to move.

Top down view of a tag. You can see the little divots the bit leaves. It does this at tags and at other stop/start points.

Lots of things could cause that. If the sled is not perfectly flat against the board when it starts the plunge and then tilts into the board while plunging, you might see that. Some CAM programs let you do a lead-in where the plunge occurs away from the cut-line and then the machine moves into it.
