Stolen Likes in the Garden

I just earned a “nice reply” badge for this post Cub Scout Bridge, in which I copied the picture from the community garden website to the corresponding forum discussion. Nice Reply is automatically granted for a reply to a thread that earns 10 likes.

I started copying pictures in response to a comment that people wanted to see pictures in the CG-generated forum topics. I’m happy to do it as a service to the community, but earning that badge is a little embarrassing for me, because I know that most (all?) of those likes were not really for me but for @creigpat and his awesome bridge. So CG creators, sorry to steal your likes. Be sure to check out the likes for your pictures and know how much the forum community appreciates your creations.

P.S. If you want to get those likes for yourself, feel free to post your picture to the CG-generated thread right after you create the project. I won’t mind.

I really appreciate your thoughtfulness, but I’m not worried about it. I also appreciate being able to see pictures if the CG projects on the forum without having to click through to the garden, so I hope you keep doing it.

I’m still trying to figure out if she’s a bot or not. She hasn’t tried to sell us pharmaceuticals, but her name and fairly generic replies seem a little suspicious. On the other hand, I wouldn’t be shocked if she’s a real person.
